"Before therapy I was struggling to hear myself. My head was noisy and I couldn’t differentiate between my needs and other’s needs which left me in a near constant state of frustrated indecision.

Robin helped me to find my ground.  She was able to both gently and aptly identify my habits, expectations and true emotions and then guide me through the process of untangling them.

Now I am comfortable in my skin. I can seperate outside pressures and conflicts from my own and I no longer spend hours fighting myself.  I am free to make choices that work for me and that clarity has had countless positive effects in my life." - Ian

"I had been struggling with getting over a traumatic event for a couple of years. I had learned to live with a high level of anxiety and it was really affecting my life and my relationships - I didn't realise quite how much. Robin created an incredibly safe space to allow me to resolve extremely challenging issues. I trusted her implicitly and felt totally supported, which enabled me to let go, relax and get on with shifting things quite quickly. I noticed a massive difference right away. I felt like I could live properly again.

My experience was that my nervous system was 're-set' to how it was before the traumatic event. Working with Robin helped me rebuild my life, move country and start focusing my energy on being happy and what I wanted to achieve. I'm still really happy and really grateful. I can't recommend Robin highly enough - she is an amazing, caring and perceptive therapist." - Jane

"Before working with Robin I felt very empty and out of control. I had no awareness or access to myself or my emotions. I felt depressed, overwhelmed and powerless over obsessions and compulsive behaviour and the unmanageability that came as a result. I had low self esteem and felt powerless to effect change in my life and old patterns. I felt very little trust with people and very disconnected from the world around me. I felt like I only interacted with people in a superficial way and that people did not effect me.

Through the course of therapy with Robin I felt very safe to open up to her about my issues. I found that with each session and each issue that arose, I was supported and found a way to solve and work through my problems in a way that was transferable to all other areas of my life. I built trust with Robin and with time I was able to extend this trust into my life.

I found the grounding exercises and body work very helpful to come back into contact with my emotions and present sense of reality. Robin helped me to be able to face reality more and not be so scared to lean into the fear and grow and develop from challenging experiences which I had previously been stuck in and run from.

I am now more engaged in my life and feel less ill. I feel more able to deal with social situations and more present to deal with my needs in many different situations. My relationships with people have deepened and I have started to experience a true feeling of trust and intimacy with others. I have learned to take care of myself whilst remaining attentive and more aware of other peoples needs. I feel more connected to the world around me and more accepting of myself. I feel that the life I am living reflects my internal value system and I feel like Robin supported me in trusting my values in all different kinds of ways." - Norah

"I was incredibly relieved to find Robin. The months we worked together had a long-lasting impact on me. I am now better at setting boundaries, taking time for myself and seeing my needs as valid. With this change in perspective, I've been able to lead a much happier and less stressed life than before I worked with Robin. She made me feel comfortable taking about intimate issues and we progressed at the pace I needed. I would highly recommend Robin to a close friend looking for help working through issues they are struggling to deal with." - Clara

"I had a lifetime of issues that I was carrying around on my shoulders. Problems that I knew were stopping me from developing as a person and preventing me from finding happiness within myself and around me. I knew I had to seek help!

I felt comfortable sitting and talking to Robin from my first session with her. From then on my journey began and even though I had to go through the hardest time in my life facing my issues head on, I never once had second thoughts concerning Robin and her ability to see me through those hard times. She was always kind, understanding, nonjudgmental and helped me approach my problems from places I would have found difficult to find on my own and that ultimately got me through my pain.

Now I feel a much stronger, settled adult who can deal with not only life much better but most importantly myself. That negativity that I used to carry with me has been replaced with a much more positive happy me. Robin has been, hands down, one of the most important people in my life and I am grateful that I chose her to be my guide and therapist." - Tom

"I found Robin when I was in a truly desperate place. I was deeply depressed. I was afraid. Robin helped me to identify that I was suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Robin listened with empathy but never pity. She taught me practical tools that I still use every day to stay present. She taught me to identify and disempower the inner critic. Robin helped me to re-enter the world and engage with my life and my family." - Anonymous

"Robin was the best therapist I ever had. She made me feel safe, welcome, always asked really interesting and helpful questions, and never judged me. Even in our very first get to know each other session, I gained some insights. I still feel very sad that we couldn't continue our work together as she was moving, but in the three months we worked together she helped me a lot and the changes are definitly recognizable. I looked forward to each session I had with her. Thank you Robin !!" - Eden

"Robin showed me some excellent tools for managing emotional stress. With her help, I could more easily identify my emotions and handle them. I feel stronger because of our work together." - Katie
About Robin
It is important to me to create a safe space for my clients to work with whatever is important to them. Whether it is a relationship, a work problem, a family of origin issue, or a struggle with life purpose, I help my clients to hold their experience with compassion and non-judgement. From this perspective they can see and experience the issue differently, gain perspective, compassion, clarity and see what their choices truly are.

Each person's truth is different; their skills, values, experiences, feelings and interpretations are uniquely their own. As a result, what each person wants from therapy is different. It is my job to help each client more fully understand how their own unique being comes out in the world. With this understanding, what they want from others and the outside world shifts and they can make choices that are more in alignment with who they truly are.

Working as a therapist is a great honor as my clients trust me with their innermost experiences. I hold this sacred trust without judgement of my client's choices or beliefs, but with the intention of bringing more of their inner experience to awareness. I create a space for engaging whatever is present with compassion and empathy, searching only for the truth in any experience.
